Providence Baptist Church is a self-governing, self-supporting institution with the Lord Jesus Christ as its head. We are guided by the Bible, our sole authority for faith and practice, and strive to be a true New Testament church.



Our History
The church began in April 2000, starting with a small group of believers meeting in a garage before moving to a wedding chapel. In November 2005, through God’s provision, we relocated to our current sanctuary on Highway 49 in Coopertown, Tennessee.

Our Mission
We have one message: the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry: to fulfill His command to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
