WHO WE ARE

Providence Baptist Church is a self-governing and self-supporting institution. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice and it is our desire to be a true New Testament church.

Our church began in April of 2000 with a handful of believers meeting in a garage for a brief time before settling in a wedding chapel. Through God’s guidance and provision, in November of 2005, we moved into our present sanctuary and property on Highway 49 in Coopertown, Tennessee.

At Providence, we have one message and one ministry: The message of the Lord Jesus Christ and the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
